Is this a job board?
No. We run your job as paid ads on social media and send people who tap the ad to your own careers page or application link.
Where do applicants go?
Straight to your careers page. Ads link to your careers page or application link, so applicants arrive where you already review candidates. You don't download résumés or enter anyone by hand. If you don't have a careers page or an applicant tracking system, we can send applicant information to you by email instead.
Why do social ads work for hiring?
Job boards only reach the small group of people actively searching for a job right now. Many strong candidates are only casually looking: they are open to a new job if one is put in front of them, but they are not on a job board. Social platforms let you reach those people near you, and because fewer employers advertise jobs this way, it can cost less than competing on crowded job boards. Results depend on the role, so some jobs suit social ads better than others.
What details help my ads perform best?
The more you tell us, the better the ad. Include the job description, pay, benefits and perks, work schedule, requirements and what kind of person does well in the role. We pick the two or three best selling points for the ad. Being clear about the requirements is most important. It allows us to meet your expectations and increase your quality applicant flow, and in turn your applicant-to-hire rate. Specific ads help people who are not a fit decide not to click, which matters because most platforms charge by the click. Additionally, the location you give us sets the area where the ad is shown, with at least a 15-mile area.
How are the ads made?
We use AI to generate your ad from the role, pay and requirements you give us, and our team reviews it before it runs. We then test different versions of the ad and keep the ones that perform best.
How does the budget work?
You choose a daily ad budget and how many days to run the ads. Your budget is all-in: it includes your ad spend and our fee, with nothing added on top. There is no monthly subscription and no fee per hire. The more specific you are about pay and requirements, the better the right people respond. Your budget should match how urgently you need to hire. If you are building a pipeline or hiring passively, our recommended budget is lower, starting at $30 a day. If you are actively filling a position, it is higher, around $50 a day. If you needed someone yesterday, we recommend an aggressive budget of $100 a day. Applicant Reach is not meant to be kept on for months. Use it to fill roles and your pipeline when you need to.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Refunds are not offered, because of how paid ads work: your budget goes to running the ads as soon as they are live. You can cancel or pause at any point by contacting support.
What is a careers page?
A careers page is the page on your website, or a link from your applicant tracking system, where people see your open jobs and apply. When someone applies there, their information is tracked for you. If you don't have one, send us an email address instead and we'll point the ads there. A careers page or application link works best.
Can you guarantee a number of applicants?
No. Results depend on the role, the area, your pay and your daily budget. A higher budget reaches more people. Harder-to-fill roles typically see a higher cost per applicant.
Can I hire for more roles or locations?
Yes. Each role in each location runs as its own campaign with its own budget. Check the box to add another role or location on the form, up to five extra. If you need more, send us a message through the support form and we'll set it up.
Who do I contact for more questions?
Use the support form at the bottom of the page and our team will reply by email.
